TKM akupresurne točke in zelišča za zdravljenje migrene in glavobolov

Updated: Nov 24, 2022

Težave z migreno in s tem povezano dolgoročno tveganje

Varno in učinkovito zdravljenje migrene s TKM in akupunkturo

4. Sproščujoča nožna kopel

Ob večerih namakajte svoja stopala v kadi tople vode s ščepcem soli, da zasidrate in preusmerite ognjeno energijo in s tem negujete ledvični meridian. Preveč aktiven ogenj in šibke ledvice so običajno neravnotežje, ki po TKM teoriji povzroča migrene.

5. Prehrana

6. Izogibajte se sprožilnim dejavnikom, kot so:

Mononatrijev glutamat (MSG), aspartam ter ostala umetna sladila in konzervansi; alkohol in kofein; kontracepcijske tabletke; arašidi, čili in pekoča hrana

Čaj krizanteme, paketek za nožno kopel in individualizirana TKM zdravljenja so na voljo v našem centru, zato nas prosim za dodatne informacije kontaktirajte.

TCM Acupoints and herbs for migraine and headache

The migraine problem and associated long term risk

Migraines can range in symptoms, frequency, duration and intensity. Many patients will present with an ‘aura’. An aura mainly presents as visual disturbances like flashing of light, floaters, or blind spots. Some patients will experience tingling and numbness in their body. Migraines can be debilitating and last several hours or days. Pain can be moderate to intense and may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, light and/or sound sensitivity.

Migraine is associated with a twofold increased risk of ischemic stroke, which is only apparent among people who have migraine with aura. Our results also suggest a higher risk among women and risk was further magnified for people with migraine who were aged less than 45, smokers, and women who used oral contraceptives.[1]

Safe and effective treatment of migraine with TCM and acupuncture

According to a review study conducted by Duke University Medical Center researchers, acupuncture is more effective than medication in reducing the severity and frequency of chronic headaches.[2] The researchers found that 62 percent of the acupuncture patients reported headache relief compared to only 45 percent of people taking medication. These acupuncture patients also reported better physical well-being compared to the medication group.

Acupuncture is effective for all types of headaches, including tension headaches, migraine headaches, cluster headaches, post-traumatic headaches and disease-related headaches due to sinus problems, high blood pressure or sleeping disorders. Acupuncture can reduce the number of headache days that a person has per year, as well as reduce the amount of medication they need and days off work. Unlike synthetic drugs, which can lead to patients experiencing a “rebound” headache, acupuncture is safe, gentle and has virtually no side effects. [3]

Home remedies for migraine

Chronic migraine is a complicated health condition that requires systematic management by a well-trained TCM practitioner, but there are something you may do by yourself as a daily management and fast relief of symptoms.

  1. Instanting refreshing Rub peppermint oil into the temples to ease migraine pain and associated nausea.

  2. Acupoint massage Please watch our video for demonstration https://www.facebook.com/AKUENERGIJA/videos/332808360802719/

  3. Chrysanthemum and fresh ginger tea Chrysanthemum is good at clearing the excessive heat in the head region. Use 3-5 pieces of flower and soak into hot water for 3 minutes. Do not over soak it as the flavour and nature change and become less effective. If you have a weak stomach or have nausea, put also 3 slices of fresh ginger inside.

  4. Calming footbath Soak feet in a tub of warm water with a pinch of salt in the evenings to anchor and redirect the fire energy and nourish the kidney meridian while overactive fire and weak kidney is a common imbalance that causes migraine in TCM theory.

  5. Diet Learn more about a healthy diet for longevity at this link https://www.akupunkturatkm.com/zdravaprehrana

  6. Avoid triggering factor

  • Alcohol and caffeine;

  • Contraceptive pills;

  • Peanuts, chilly and spicy food.

Chrysanthemum tea, foot bath pack and individualized TCM treatment is available at our center, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
