Tradicionalna kitajska zelišča za konje
Tradicionalna kitajska medicina oz.
Bolečinah v mišicah in hrbtu
Vnetnih stanjih
Šepavosti oz. hromosti
Akutni traumi in celjenju ran
Tesnobi in čustvenih motnjah
Kožnih alergijah
Dihalnih težavah
Reproduktivnih motnjah
Gastrointestinalnih težavah
Spodbujanju pripravljenosti pred dogodki in dirkami
Prehranska podpora

Chinese herbs for Horses
Traditional Chinese herbs for Horses
Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, has been used as front line medicine by the majority of the world’s population since before recorded history; it is thought to date back around 4000 to 5000 years. Considered to be the oldest form of traditional medicine, it is still the most widely utilized medical system in the world today.
In China, the use of both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine for horses has been widespread for thousands of years. In the last few decades, this form of medicine has gained increasing interest within the conventional (western) medical field, with Acupuncture being formally recognized by the World Health Organisation in 2003.
What conditions can benefit from Chinese Medicine?
Chinese Medicine is traditionally used for:
Pain
Back and muscle soreness
Inflammatory conditions
Lameness
Acute trauma and scar healing
Anxiety and emotional disorders
Skin allergies
Respiratory conditions
Reproductive disorders
Gastrointestinal problems
Performance boosting pre-events or race
Decreasing recovery time post events
Boosting Athletic Performance with Chinese Medicine:
Your horse doesn’t have to be sick to benefit from Chinese Medicine. Many people are incorporating Chinese medicine into their horse’s training programs to maximize sub-optimal performance in the absence of clinical disease. This is especially useful towards the end of a strenuous campaign where your horse may be at risk of poor performance due to stress and overtraining.
Many racing yards have also employed the use of Chinese Medicine into their routine health programs and Acupuncturists have accompanied several European Olympic teams.
One of the major advantages of the use of Chinese Medicine in performance horses is that no drugs are used. This enables trainers and owners to seek treatment for their horses in conditions where conventional drug treatments are banned.
Chinese herbal formulae, like Acupuncture, the use of both Chinese and Western Herbal medicine dates back thousands of years and is based on the concepts of holism, balance and Yin and Yang. It aims to understand and treat the underlying causes of disease and ill health rather than just focusing on the expression of symptoms, thus it is a very holistic form of medicine.
Most of our herbs, especially the Chinese based herbs, are rarely prescribed individually, rather they are made up into formulae of between 3 to 8 herbs. This enables the prescription to be tailored specifically for every horse while addressing both primary and secondary complaints.
Nutritional support
All herbs are prescribed individually and tailored specifically for your horses needs.
